KOFI ANNAN IS VISITING COPENHAGEN
The opening of the WFP's World Meeting took place at the Marriott Hotel Copenhagen

|
WFP (World Food Programme) is the world's largest international food aid organisation combating hunger in more than 80 underdeveloped nations in the world.
The head quarters is in Rome, whereas the Nordic office is placed in Copenhagen.
On the occasion of Denmark is chairman of the UN Security Council Kofi Annan visited Denmark in June to have a meeting with Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen, Foreign Minister Per Stig Møller and Minister for Development Cooperation Ulla Tørnæs.
Furtermore Kofi Annan took the opportunity to open WFP’s World meeting, which was held at the Marriott Hotel Copenhagen, before he left Denmark Sunday evening.
A total conference solution
The total conference solution for the World Meeting was given to Informationsteknik from the Irish company AVCOM, who is the daily supplier of AV Equipment for WFP.
Besides a complete AV- solution for the conference rooms - such as projectors, sound and light for both group rooms and for the plenum hall, we provided copiers and other hardware. Moreover we took care of the graphical expression in the plenum hall by producing a digital colourful back wall.
12 AV technicians were in charge of all setting up and four technicians from Informationsteknik and two from AVCOM were in charge of the handling during the show.
