INFORMATIONSTEKNIK VISITED THE WORLD'S GREATEST AUDIO VISUAL SHOW - INFOCOMM

InfoComm is the place for the whole world to meet and experience the future of audio-visual technology, and this year it was even bigger than before

This year Informationsteknik had sent seven employees from our project sales and rental division to the show, and they were very busy. Primarily they should gather information about new technologies and visit existing and coming suppliers. All market leading suppliers with whom we cooperate were represented at the show: e.g. AMX, Barco, Digital Projection, Extron, Folsom, Panasonic, Sony, Vista Systems and Yamaha.
It was very exciting - exhibition combined with training and seminars, plus personal meetings with suppliers to get good background knowledge about new technologies and trends.

Panasonic presented several new projectors - with more light including ”System Daylight View”, which gives a clear image even in day light. All models contain each two AC-lamps to ensure a longer life time on the lamps.
PT-D5700 has 6000 ANSI lumens and a new ”edge blending function" to ensure a nice wide screen image when more projectors are used for creating one large image.
PT-DW5100 has the same features but shows a 16 x 9 wide screen image(1280 x 768)
Also Panasonic presented a new widescreen serie in 16 x 10 format (1280 x 800) with side-by-side function. Last but certainly not least they showed their 104" plasma display.

With the new Spyder from VISTA you can make 3D projections with more PIPs (Picture in Picture). At the Vista booth the visitors wore 3D glasses – and then they could see some amazing images - for instance live camera images in 3D. Existing VISTA users will be able to upgrade their system by buying the 3D facility.

Also in the audio section there was exciting news. Informationsteknik's employees enjoyed listening to one of the big sound engineers telling bout his work.
John Meyer, the founder of Meyer Sound held an inspiring speech – and showed photos from their new test theatre, The Pearson Theatre. The room is made as if it was supposed to cope with an earth quake to ensure the best acoustics. In this room Meyer holds high-level professional seminars for audio-professionals, demonstrates their loudspeakers and tests their equipment to obtain the best quality sound.

After a trip like that and a well deserved holiday we are very well prepared to the coming tasks - a permanent installation or a rental and staging job. Of course we will also like to tell you about all the new equipments and our experiences.
Please contact us using the form - or call (45) 33 85 40 40.
