CELEBRATION OF JØRGEN MADS CLAUSEN'S BIRTHDAY AT DANFOSS
Danfoss Universe is Denmark's first experience park and in September it was also the setting for both birthday celebration and reception.
In connection with Jørgen Mads Clausen's 60 years birthday September 23 following by his retirement as the CEO of Danfoss 6 days later, the scene was sat for a very amusing day.
Danfoss Universe hosted this fantastic event - where every detail was thoroughly concidered. Cumulus, the exhibition building focusing on digital technology, was in honour of the occasion converted to an aeroplane. Informationsteknik was the technical supplier and sparring partner for this fabulous experience. The preparations included production of a two hours show. To create a close to reality take-off and landing a film had been recorded. A camera was attached to a real plane, and film of Als and Danfoss was recorded. These recordings together with subwoofers, light and many different effects formed the setting for the take-off and landing. In addition to this show there were speeches and top class entertainment with Kim Sjøgren & The Mermaid Orchestra and Sissel Kyrkjebø. Everything was transmitted to and from the tent in which the public was invited.

To create the nice setting and a good atmosphere, light and sound were integrated in the room - especially the projection of the two sides of the aircraft with security signs and windows with justable blinds - and then of course the cockpits – both one for the pilot and one for Informationsteknik's skilled technicians and project managers. It was a very exciting project and in all ways a successful day.
